I hope to get a White Crape Myrtle that Usha gave me planted this weekend. I just haven't figured out where yet, because I don't know how big it's going to get. I don't even know if it's a shrub or a tree!! =) I do have one spot in mind that would work for bush or small tree.

I have an Ornamental Pear but it must be different from Alan's because it's fall colors were mostly yellows with a little red. I love the red!!! But mine also has the shiny leaves too. The blooms were incredible in early spring. I love this tree and when I buy a house again (if not this one) I will have one planted. The messy blossoms and leaves are totally worth it.
