You may still be correct , but the leaves in the pics of 'Sunny Border Blue' look so much longer and narrower than the leaves on my plant. We shall see! Smiling

Ok, here is the latest photo, it definitely appears to be some type of Veronica or Speedwell
Thumb of 2014-05-25/Seedfork/c3010f

Ran across this article incase anyone wants some information on Veronicas and Speedwells.
http://www.chicagobotanic.org/...

I noticed that in this chart 'Sunny Border Blue' is listed as being 22 inches tall and 22 inches wide, my plant to me appears to have an upright habit and be much taller than wide. However, this plant is returning for the first year, so it is young and may broaden out over time I don't know. It is actually 28' to the base of the bloom stalk, and right now the bloom portion is 3 inches long, how much taller it will get I also don't know.
After I took a second look at the chart I see nothing listed as being taller than it is wide. So I assume this plant will spread quite a bit.

@greene,
How is your plant doing, is it about to bloom? Does it still look like mine, I don't remember this plant at all from last year.

@Seedfork,
I've been checking almost everyday and today there is a tiny speck of a beginning of a flower stalk just starting to peek out. Probably have to wait at least a week even for a macro. I had taken cuttings from this for my local swap and the plant is a little slow to recover. I'll post as soon as it shows itself.

Well, I was not convinced that this was 'Sunny Border Blue' judging by the photos in the data base, but after looking at the photos over at Dave's old site I have to agree that it is. So I will be entering more pics here in the data base.

Sorry my pictures took so long but some things are slow-growing this year.

This is my Veronica which was labelled as 'Goodness Grows'.

This is the one (no label) I think is Veronica 'Sunny Blue Border'

Yes, I think both of those are the same as two I grow, I remember planting the 'Goodness Grows' but still have no recollection of planting the 'Sunny Blue Border' I wonder if some of those seeds were mixed in with the 'Goodness Grows" seeds?
