Deb gave our daughter and her husband a few canna's from our yard when they finished building their raised flower beds last year. They say that they haven't given anything to them except water. I gotta run a water line 3 miles from their house to mine because they never grew anywhere near that big at my house! That's some water they have over there.

Yeah what is in the dirt? Mine that get watered all the time do not get that big and neither do the ones that do not get that much water.

Same stuff I have in my raised beds. Mostly a conglomeration of store bought bagged garden soils, potting mixes and composts mixed with about 20% native soil.

That is a north facing wall behind them.
