Ok, I can certainly see that maybe I was asking for something a little too specific, and not knowing how computer coding works or how hard it is to do I might have been expecting too much. I was just thinking something like *LIST* key to the computer program that a list is coming, *Daylilies* to let it know this list is all daylilies, then list the registered names, and let the computer match it with the picture location. But now I see that is really getting pretty specific, but for specific plant forums like Daylilies, Roses, Hostas etc. I thought it might be feasible.
Thanks for looking into it though! Thumbs up

dave,
Just one more example of how members are handling lists. I know it is not possible now, but if new technology comes along keep this on the back burner please! I tip my hat to you.

Believe me, I am always asking for things that aren't possible. It seems like the computer ought be able to read my mind by now, don't you think?!?!

Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

I think that will be possible in the not so distant future. Technology is moving at the speed of light it seems. We are just ultra fortunate that Dave does an amazing job of keeping up with it!

Very early in the ancient history of computers ...
... before there was a Google
... before there were personal computers
... before there were compiled languages
There was only assembler and the Void.

Even then, when only the High Priests of Assembler could use computers, there was already a heartfelt desire for that, and a mythical ASM opcode reserved for it:

rpm - - - - Read Programmers Mind.

We wanted it even more than the second-most popular ASM opcode:

hcf - - - - Halt and Catch Fire

I'm really sick of this machine.
I wish that they would sell it.
It never does the things I want,
but only what I tell it.
