Sooner Serenade is prettier in person and this particular blossum is a bit ragged; I have several stalks that have been affected by the weather and I am guessing this one has had some ill effects.

Tessie is very much a "Beacon" in the garden. She stands out!

You better get out your shovel and start some new beds, cause Greg has a LOT of irises, and before this season is over, you'll be droolin like a mad man!

Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious! In progress, Tom, plus I am rehoming a goodly amount of Daylilies to make Iris room. Already have a memorial circle for a kid named C.J. Robinson, so I HAVE to add Cee Jay to that bed, right? Big Grin

Is Grindelwald named for the owner of the Elder Wand before Dumbledore? If so, you have quite a Potter collection growing. Maybe you DO need the Golden Snitch!

Nobody knows what Sterling named this for. It could have been for the village in Switzerland. A mystery.

This just showed up one day. I am sure I got it from my friend "Bob" (Bob is a VERY long story). It was originally label "Az Ap" which it most certainly is not). It blooms at the same time as Persnickety. Looks like it (but is not), same height. My strong guess is it is a "Keppel". I just have not tried too hard to pin it down.

There are 17 bloom stalks in bloom in this picture! Only 5 more to go! This is only a three year clump (I think)

Ok; it is a four year clump.

First year output = 3 stalks
Second year output = 2 stalks
Third year output = 5 stalks
Fourth year output = 22 stalks (maybe more)!!!!
