I was browsing through the database and I noticed that there is a very old (1950) daylily called Serenity. There's no picture, nor is there one at www.daylilies.org or http://davesgarden.com. Does anybody know anything about this daylily?

never saw it. Sorry. Did you do a google search? Maybe you could search the hybidizer and his or her plants might be located that way?

I gave it a try but it is a tough search with only one word and that word occurring from gardening to Buddhism to romance.

Glen, I love your sense of humor! Frilly gave great advice. Somethings take patience.

Thank you! The daylily was listed as being orange so I would have totally missed this!

Yes, I saw it but it was the wrong colour. I think it might be a photographer's creative title?

That's possible. I emailed her asking where she purchased the flower from. Hopefully she'll get back to me (and actually remember) so I can get to the bottom of the mystery.

Some people have mislabeled plants too. I have never seen the flower so I have no idea, but that is the only pic I found that claimed to be it.

Amazing how plants frequently look like their names.
