I am not familiar with this one. I have Butterfly Kisses which is dwarf and it was my very last Echinacea to come back this year, but it did.

No afraid not. Shrug!
Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

That is not one of the ones I have tried. And how large of a container? The only person I know who grows Echinacea in containers uses 20 gallon pots.

Bob it is 18 inches wide.
I think I asked about this plant a few months ago, sorry I forgot about it. Geezer brain in action I guess.
I really thought an echi could withstand the cold but I am more of a mind now that they cant.

This year more than ever I am finding stuff that I was sure was dead but in reality is just taking much much longer to wake up. There are a few things I pulled out a month ago that I now wish I had just left alone!

Jennifer : I suffer from impatience too. If I had only remembered the planter was in a shadier spot. Now if the plant will just make a nice clump I will be thrilled.

Glade it came back for you. Your Heuchera looks good , mine lost just about all their leaves after a Winter like the one we had.

I thought these were dead! Took them 2 years to come up and I had buried them with newspaper and three inches of mulch, I forgot they were there! (Solomon's Seal)
