I discovered this plant last year, but it had already bloomed. I went back today and found it in bloom. This is the first time I see one in bloom.
Amorpha fruticosa

Jay, I have those growing in my yard, the bloom period is short, but they sure are pretty.
They are a larval host for Skippers and Sulfur butterflies. Smiling

If you can go back when the seed is mature, they are very easy to start from seed. Smiling

Seems to be very nice. And have a nice habitus, too. Never seen, at least in flower. Will be interesting to develop a forum for native bushes and shrubs good for landscaping.
Josephine, how looks the foliage throughout the year?
