Yesterday I was honored to be granted three new registration documents from the Plumeria Society of America. 'Vivace', 'Beacon Lights' and 'Sugar Plum Fairy' have now been added to the roster of registered Plumeria names!

Were those grown from seed, Hetty?

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.

The last one was, the other two were 'foundlings'.

found·ling
ˈfoundliNG/
noun
an infant that has been abandoned by its parents and is discovered and cared for by others.

In these cases, trees that I discovered and of which I ascertained that they had not been previously named or registered.
Essentially all new varieties are seedlings. Only Sugar Plum Fairy was grown from seed by me.

Congratulations Hetty, they are all beautiful. I'm really enamored of that first one Vivace, it's a beautiful, pure red.

Congratulations Hetty. Job(s) well done. I know it must take a lot of time, a lot of effort, and dedication to have plants accepted by the PSA.
