Apple trees are blooming and the cedar waxwings are hanging out. I also heard a Baltimore Oriole today.

Lilies Celebrating Gardening: 2015 Daylilies
All of you have such lovely gardens. It's relaxing to visit them, even only in photos.

Here is my tree peony. Usually only looks good for 3 or 4 days, but the foliage stays attractive until fall and the trunk even adds winter interest. If you look closely on the left you can see some of my first daylily scapes on Eqyptian Queen.

Lilies Celebrating Gardening: 2015 Daylilies
The tree peony is probably 12 years old. I am having problems with shoots growing from the rootstock it was grafted onto. I just keep cutting them down below ground, but I'm afraid it won't live the 100 years I was hoping it would. I've only seen scapes on 3 daylilies so far. Here's a lilac.
