That's why we chose it, but so far this year it is smaller and not as vigorous as the others. Maybe it just needs more time. Thanks for the info.

Gorgeous photo. And lovely clematis. Have tried to grow Japanese painted fern many times here as it is so lovely and really hilights surrounding plants and flowers. No luck.
From -60 Alaska to +100 Virginia. Wahoo
