I've become a fan of Black Diamond or Ebony crepe myrtle but haven't found a website where they are available for purchase. Do you know a source?

I have only ever found them for sale at local garden centers. Have you called around? I got mine from The Arbor Gate in Tomball which is not far from you.

My lowes had some yesterday when I went. Last summer home depot had some. You might call those stores and ask if they plan on getting any this year.

Oooh, the Black Diamond series are gorgeous: http://garden.org/plants/searc...
I especially love 'Ebony Flame'!

You can enter your zip code here: http://www.blackdiamondblooms.... and see if there's a place locally where you can purchase one. I did it with my zip code but unfortunately the closest place for me is more than 50 miles away! Crying They were all Lowe's so I'm going to ask at one of our local Lowe's and see if they will be getting them in!!

And, Diane: Welcome! to ATP!!
