Quintessence, it's an oriental trumpet from The Lily Garden. Can get as tall as 7ft although I haven't had that luck yet. The orange pattern on the inside of the bloom is much more pronounced in cooler weather.

It's very nice, I have a quite a few of them, but didn't keep track of their names. I had a beautiful pink one I bought from a vendor at the Chicago Garden fair a few years back. It was really nice, but never would increase. Last year it increased, and this year it's dead! It used to get about 6 feet tall. I have this yellow one that gets tall too.

Very nice Tom, the yellow one looks like Conca d'or. The pink one is nice too. Well if you ever get the lily jones just swing by the lily forum. You're more than welcome.

Mr Bass the only way you will for sure identify this iris is to grow side beside with those here you feel could be it. Now i been doing iris almost 20yrs yours appears older than most of what is suggested here and in my eye IS Spinning Wheel
