Are you talking about the Hybrid Tickseed (Coreopsis 'Cherry Lemonade')? The TN plant is not even close to what it looks like in real life. Photo shopped to the max!

Hostas provide some really nice greenery and you do not have to bring them in, they like cold weather.

The photo in OUR database is not what it looks like?????

Here's something else I found in our database and I am salivating all over it!!! I REALLY want this plant!!!!!
Blue Corydalis (Corydalis elata)
Assuming, of course, that it really looks like this.

That is a Terra Nova picture also. This is what it really looks like. LOL.

This is Coreopsis 'Cherry Lemonade'!

I don't believe anything I see if it has Terra Nova written on it. LOL.

Crittergarden, I know you're looking for perennial foliage but if you're interested in a seriously GREEN fashion statement try dropping a clump's worth of Zinnia "Envy" in a sunny spot where 4' green flowers might fit in. Beautifully obnoxious GREENERY. nodding ($2 and a lifetime of seeds)

Virginiarose, THANKS for the reality check! Rolling on the floor laughing
I hadn't known they were Terra Nova's or anyone else's, just found them in the DB. NOW I know to check!

Wes, thanks for that suggestion. I usually avoid annuals, but if they'll give me "a lifetime of seeds", I'll go for it!

Spirea "magic carpet" is gorgeous golden/chartreuse leaves and it is well behaved, does not grow too big.
Also I second agastache golden jubilee, lime green leaves and pretty blue flowers, flowers last for whole summer.

I pot the seedlings for the flea market.
Now that I finally have a gardening friend here, he'll get some, too.
