In a podcast episode a couple weeks ago, Dave mentioned his technique of weeding using a sharp shovel. We recently had to weed out a pretty bad bed of tall grass, and we took a video so we can demonstrate the technique for you.

Gardening is an effort and the challenges are huge.
Your red dry claylike looking soil is no more appealing to me then our horrible sugarsand here.
Yet we persevere and keep growing!

Most of our soil is actually sugar sand, too, but we do have a few spots here and there of hard red clay soil. There's no in-between!!
