Redneck Amaryllis Experiment

I have been curious for some time about the ability of heat to treat and even kill virus. After I received some virused Amaryllis bulbs from suppliers, this seemed to be the ideal subject for a "redneck" experiment

Let us know what happens. Did the onion do o.k. too??? Sometimes we have to use desperate measures to gardens. I know there has been "redneck" ways for hundreds of years. Just didn't have a fancy "Redneck" name attached to it.
