I have several types of Hakone Grass in mostly shade. This isn't dark, dark shade, but it is deep on the southern and eastern sides. Plants get about an hour or two of brighter light from the west each day. Smiling

Here's the most mature of that lot.

It's also been divided several times in the handful of years that it's been here.

I've found that Carex can do well in quite a bit of shade as well.
