This huge vine is growing on a pergola in the Botanical garden of Rio de Janeiro, the flowers are very big.

It's a beauty Myriam! I spent some time looking for it before but couldn't find anything, the flower reminds me of a 'Bat plant' in some ways.

I found a pdf listing trees, it might help with others you have!

Maybe you could contact them to find out?

That sure is stunning Myriam. I will be anxious to know what it is.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others.

Mystery solved, (never got an answer on my writing..)
The vine is Camoensia scandens, a plant originating from Africa. I found the plant tag a few days ago while in the botanical garden of Rio de Janeiro..

Hurray!

I guess you have looked more closely for other names Myriam! Hilarious!

I wouldn't have thought it was in Fabaceae!

Thanks Janet and Ann! Smiling

This tag had escaped my attention last year Janet, but it still stands that many plants/trees in the botanical garden of Rio have no plant tags! Rolling my eyes.
I cannot look at you link as the internet where I am now is extremely slow and unresponsive..
