Wowza! Love the form of that purple & white MG!

Stictocardia has left the trellis.. Onto canopy cables ... Growing across to a 20 ft pole... It's already 6 ft along on it's journey.. I think it will grow across and up the pole before it gets chopped back getting it inside...

Well...the Stictocardia is way across the canopy strings now... And blooms all along them
Morning glory...peppermint twist I think it is
The real show stopper is the Stephanosis...bunches of heavenly scented flowers... Giving the jasmine and the brugmansias a run for domination of the night breezes

Wow! Everything is so beautiful! Considering where you are, when do you start to dismantle everything and bring it inside? I always shoot for the end of October to have everything in the greenhouses.

Ok... Two new ones blooming today... Ones you haven't heard mentioned of here...could that be possible? Yes...
The first is perhaps my all time favorite flowering vine... My argentainain pink trumpet vine... Well...I am partial to things pink...and this one is such a strong grower.. And prolific flowerer... It will keep covered in these pink flowers till I cut it away from the trellis.. And bring it somewhere for the winter... ( Anne: that happens sometime just before Thanksgiving.. Maybe the second week of November...)
The second one... Grew nicely under the HID light...inside all winter... Then never got going outside.".always seemed dry.. And battered by the winds.. Although I watered and laced it with frets and cow manure... But is has shown a very slight interest in the last few week..to putting out a few more leaves.. And now has a few flower buds awaiting flowering... Aristolochia Brasiliensis ...ok they are small.. And just slightly exciting as buds.. Very exciting to have the buds though..
Oh...more bunches of dozens of flowers are opening..in just a couple of days the flower count has tripled... I look fit it to continue to double in flowers...till the entire plant is continually covered in them... It is truly a wonderful flowerer
yes.. mine too Betsy... and all to passifloras...the Stictocardia is really out doig it's self.. got a few cuttings rooted... and I'll go through and take the ends that start off in mid air .. without a place to be... it's way across the roof overhead on six lines.. I could easily completely cover an area above in one season.. say a 20' X 15' space... an amazing vine

The boug has started to flower now. Raspberry Ice...I wonder why the flowers first on a limb with no green in he leaf ...must not be any thing going on so why not flower
