I have never had any problems with coleus in the spring before. I may have a loose bug that is killing some of my plants.
Alabama Sunset and trailing rose has bit the dirt. GRRRRRRRRR can't find and bugs tho but I sprayed all the rest to try and save them from what ever ate/killed the 1st two.
Hugs to all.

Did you water with some H2O2? (1/2 cup Hydrogen Peroxide to 1 gallon water?
Any slugs around? Lightly spray dirt with ammonia. The scent will dissipate and it won't hurt plants. It actually does something good for them. You can also take the copper wires out of cord and put that around the garden. Earth has enough electricity to shock SLUGS!

I had 6 to kill over , no slugs just like a rot. Maybe I watered them to much the 1st couple of days.
All the rest are fine and growing great.
Thanks for the tips. I have been working to much to be on here much lately. I need a vacation.

It is hot here. My water pump went down and I am waiting for a repair man who is on his way to install a new system.. lol. wish me luck with that.shirleyt

All of cubits is quiet it seems. I guess everyone is out gardening Smiling

I wish I had time to come visit you Lavina. I love Fall in your area.
Do you want any cuttings to put in the greenhouse?
Keep you eyes open for a Pontoon boat with pontoons in good shape, 24' to 30'. Preferably with no furniture except a chair to operate the controls.
And cheap, LOL
I don't know how many of you are still at dg, but it's a ghost town over there.

I am digging up plants in the plot in front of my house. They are improving my street. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Thumbs down
My records don't have the property line near as close to my house as the survey stakes are. They will remove an ancient Live Oak and meander a sidewalk thru the front 15' of my yard. Crying Crying
I have one more Hydrangea to dig. Several Amaryllis, Juanita's Iris, and the rest of it I will just let go.
The ants and spiders have each had a bite of me. Now I have my combat boots on.
They can't bite thru those.
Don't worry I have removed venom from both bites.
Back to the yard,
Sidney Thumbs up

Lavina,
I want a pontoon boat big enough to bolt about 10 three foot wide park benches on and use to give tours.
I reckon it needs to be close enough to 'in good shape' to pass an inspection for giving tours with.
Tours won't be on the ocean, so being actually 'sea worthy' isn't necessary.
I'm getting ready to do something just for fun and if I make a buck or two that will be fun too.
Right now I'm not telling anyone where.
Just rounding up some toys.

Ohhhhh, I'm excited.
I would love to see you and picking up a boat sounds like a great idea.
I have a pretty boat found for the right price, but it's in Mountain Home Ark.

Put a big pile of cuttings in a priority mail box and sent them yesterday.
They will need to go directly in to some water.
Hope you enjoy them.
Do not worry about postage.
