Howdeeeeee My Dearest Friends,
I have decided to go to Lake Okeechobee and give tours of the Audubon Sanctuary, Hehehehehe
I have purchased this boat; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...
And hope to be up and running by Jan., or February.
Hope all of you will try to come to S. Fla and visit.
I will be down there for a few weeks in Dec. as I am surprising my DB with this new venture.
I hope we can participate in the Audubon Bird count on Christmas day.

I will post my new Business # as soon as I get it.
Have a small set back as I am having neck fusion surgery next Wed.
Hugs to each and everyone of you.
Sidney

I have done the bird count many times at Jordan Lake really enjoyed doing it.

Wish we had a boat like that.
Enjoy and I still need your telephone number

I think I'm going to wait until March or April. I am retiring to Lake Okeechobee in the winters anyhow, so my gardening is getting cut way back. I'm going to give tours of the Audubon Sanctuary down there.
I am also most likely going to get many of about 5 cultivars and call it quits. simple repetition.
That does look like a good deal.

Oh yes I have been using them for years. I lived in Charlotte for years and was there long before DG.
However I never used them like we do now until Brinda started the cuttings co-ops.

I was weak and bought cuttings from North Carolina Farms.. Great bargain.. I finally got a heater in my tiny GH this year! Now looking forward to seeing if I can keep lots of cuttings alive.

The coleus I brought in from the garden are loving the GH..

I found out I have to change my heating set up... my coleus out there... didn't do well... I shut the heater off now and going to start over with the NC farms cuttings... keep some in the house.. and some out there

Allison, Wondering wether bottom heat and a plastic dome sort of thing would help keep cuttings alive in or out of house? If roots are warm enough even large coleus will survive temps out of their comfort zone ...

I did buy a heat tape.... and I have 1 mat inside for the seeds that need it... I am going to keep them inside until I know I have enough to keep alive.. always hit & miss which survive from these tiny cuttings... but thank you for the reminder!!!

I did 3 trays and I am calling it quits for tonight... will do more tomorrow... I just stuck some damp paper towel in the baggies with the cuttings

I found buying this time of the year gives us bigger cuttings... down side is a lot of them have flowers formed on them.. just tossing those
