it has been summer on the astrological calendar for about 2 hours. There are roses blooming, hay down, baby birds leaving the nest and sunshine.

Is that Harisons Yellow? Our roses are in the middle of their second flush of blooms.
It has felt like summer for a couple of months here; I'm glad it is finally official!

Yes, Harison's Yellow, aka the yellow rose of Texas, although it originated on a Mr. Harison's farm on Manhattan Island. It's one that moves well, but a herd of cows can take them down if given 20 or 30 years.
