While out looking at the wildflowers, I saw some that I recognize ~

Sabatia campestris, always a bright sight in the early summer

Blackeyed Susan (Rudbeckia), aways pretty! and so is yarrow!

Gaillardia pulchella from seeds I planted in 2011 or 2012 finally made flowers! Hurray!

Almost forgot this one that I hope isn't some kind of Galium/Cleavers, it's pretty close to the house where the dogs will be walking through it.

It does look like it could be Helenium flexuosum, even though the plants in my pic have such short petals & some don't have petals at all! I know things in nature can be variable.

I should go take some closer pics of the ray flowers. I think they have three lobes at the end.

The stems look right too.
