It has narrow strappy leaves. Early summer bloomer and seems to bed drought tolerant.

It is a thug for me, can't get rid of it though I like how it looks. It is now throughout one of my lily beds. This photo is AFTER I thought I had it all dug out. Now I at least keep it from going to seed by pulling the stems as they finish blooming.

Good to know that it readily reseeds. I will save the seeds and use them in other places. Like the ditch across the road from my yard. : )
