Is that a flower inside the flowers? (white petal-looking bits inside) I wonder if it is part of what attracts, or feeds, the hummingbirds? It certainly attracted me here to see it - lovely. Thumbs up

That's the reproductive parts. Either the stigma or anthers, I can't tell for sure from this photo.
