I agree David. I love discussions of different style. It might not be my style but I appreciate it for the look. I love your gardens. It reminds me of the tropical vacations Islands I have visited. I try to create that look on my patio.

I also try but have not succeeded in doing a more controlled formal look for the front of my house. Not because it is my choice it just seems when I see Tudor homes that there should be a formal look garden style. I have to clean out, remove some plants because I did not do what I had planned.

I think your look matches your house architecture.

It might be good to move this to another topic. I feel like I just hyjacked Cinda's post. I am sorry Cinda.

Thank you Cinda for the pics. I have some rental property I think I am going to use for a lot that is next to one of those properties. These forums really help me and I get so many ideas that would never have occurred to me. Someone dropped off 2 tires in that lot I noticed the other day and I was trying to figure out if I was going to take it upon myself to dispose of them or plant in them.

It is not my property but it is abandoned but not cared for by the city.
