Anyone seen this yet? I am just getting tiny baby squash and pumpkins on. Zuchinni is about two inches long with several more set on.

Reid, mine are just starting as well -- have a couple of baby golden zucchini and some mini pumpkins showing up. Now if they just get pollinated... might attempt to give them a helping hand to make sure!

Sandy, I want to help them out too, but male and female flowers haven't opened together yet.

Unfortunately that seems to be the problem early in the season! Sad

That looks like a huge Butternut, Reid -- nice! Our temps haven't hit 70 in a while, today we didn't even make it to 60 Blinking But, so far no frost -- and it looks like at least the coming week won't see one either, so I won't complain.

I have butternut squash growing on an arch-shaped trellis, along with a bunch of gourd plants -- some of them are pretty large for acorns, I need to pick one to try one of these days soon. And really need to bring in some of the green tomatoes, there are still so many on the plants and they just aren't ripening with the chilly temps and I don't want to wait until they get damaged by the cold !

We are really lucking out on the weather. Temps are forecasted in te 70s for the next ten days, but we will see if it holds. My tomatoes have pretty much stopped now. I have a few small green ones on. I have volunteer pumpkins that could use a lot more time, so I'm excited about the weather.
