Such a pleasure to see your garden grow, and so many plants already happy in their new beds! I really enjoy the notes about each plant - I'm on a long-term search for Pleioblastus/bamboo myself, and someday will narrow down to one that is smaller, clumps-doesn't-run, and loves the heat in full sun. Each bit you share about new plants sends out runners to other gardeners who benefit, y'know!

I am hoping that they put on some width by autumn and I can get a few divisions off of them. Santa Rosa Gardens, where I purchased them, says they will get 3-5' in width so maybe?? I noticed that you and I grow many of the same cv's of d/l's and yours always look better. It could be interesting to see if the Pleioblastus does the same....
