Debra, he is doing well, he is working with my husband's son who has a sign business, at first I was not sure how that would work out as he was in a classroom teaching in the Air Force plus I was worried how their relationship would be working together all the time as they have always been really close but everything is working out great, thanks for asking.

Did not take a lot of photo's of gardens as I had my son's camera and could not get it to work right half of the time, my son says I am technically challenged which is true. anyway here is a couple of pictures I did take of a public garden near my home.

Find a Fujifilm or Fuji T400 camera on eBay. Only get it if it is in excellent condition. It's an old model and should be available for $40 or less. I wouldn't pay more.

It is a cheap camera that is easy to operate and takes great pictures, especially close-ups on the flower mode.

People probably get rid of them because today's Smart Phones are almost or as good as most cameras.

I love my T400.

Linnea -- is that a digital camera? My favorite camera is a Konika Minolta DiMage -- either the G530 or G600. They take great photos. Have to be purchased on Ebay as these are older models.

I have a Fuji A345, I got it used from a friend after he got a newer one. I like it 'cause it's simple (just like me) to use and takes pretty good pictures.

Yes, it is digital. Nice to know about the Konika. Cameras can be frustrating! I had an S series Fuji that was horrific to focus on close ups. I gave it to my son in Venice Beach.

I sell stone jewelry. That is much more difficult to get good close ups of than plants are.
