Are crocosmia planted in the fall or the spring?

Ann, typically they're sold in spring, so that's when you'd find the best variety to choose from. I don't think it would matter much in your zone which time of year they were planted, but in areas that do get cold temps spring is preferable to allow the plants to become established before frost.
