Don't let your plummies go dormant so you get to see the seedpod mature into viable seed bearing pods. Green Grin!

My Plumeria I call Auntie Chris has always gone dormant for me no matter where I put it, or how I treat it. I have others that stay around for a long time during the winter, often keeping 5-6 leaves until spring. But Auntie Chris likes to sleep in the winter. She is now in the GH with her babies in a sunny corner with the heater on to 75 to prevent the shock of the cooler temps we are getting/about to get. It seems I am pulling off 3-4 discolored leaves off her on a daily basis. I know this would happen even if I moved her into the house. I hope, hope, hope the seed pods stay put. We are expecting some cold temps this coming week as an arctic blast comes from Canada into the US. Maybe I can create a little bassinet to keep them safe?? Lovey dubby

Oh, I read about that forthcoming Arctic Blast..seems to be a remnant/part of that super typhoon Nuri. Hope you get your plumies nicely warm..and your home as well.
