I do hope you enjoyed Part I of the Palace and Gardens. Let us take another walk and see what else we can find in the 19 acres around the Palace, both old and new! There were a few surprises and all of them very nice ones.
Just read this second part, and it was so interesting, Neil... loved all the pictures! Felt like I was all alone on that little walk thru the woods, such serenity... I really like that Weeping Purple Beech tree--- I want it in my yard!! Also like those huge Blue Cedars... so magnificent! You wrote a fine article, my friend---- thanks for sharing with us!! You are appreciated.
I'm late to the party, but what a treat! Loved the tour and wished I could have shared the bench with you listening to the birds, the moat and the buzzing of bees. Being of English descent myself, scenes like these evoke some yearning in me to experience England firsthand. Maybe someday
I think that if ever a mortal heard the voice of God it would be in a garden at the cool of the day. ~F. Frankfort Moore, A Garden of Peace
Dear Angie, thank you for your comments. People liked my recent Articles on the Crystal Palace and my latest Articles on one of London's secret Garden the Rookery which are both on the front of cubits home page. That fantastic place is everyone's dream as it simply has something for everyone crammed into 3 acres. An Awe inspiring place.
Hope you are well and not getting wet like we are.
Regards.
Neil.
