Chantell, do a search on your computer and I think you will find quite a few sources for the tuberose bulbs. I even found one that says there are now pink tuberoses on the market, never heard of this.

@Avedon - yup that's how I find many things but I always like to know if someone's had good experience with a particular vendor/nursery. Smiling
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

That's true, and I am trying to remember where I bought ours, but it was at least twenty years ago, and I think they were sold in the local plant nurseries in those plastic bags. Obviously, they were fine, for when we moved here 16+ years ago, those bulbs came with us--they are the ones in the ground here. I have never ordered from Amazon or Ebay, so know nothing about what quality plants you might get there, but perhaps someone else does.

Chantell I bought mine from Easy to Grow Bulbs in the spring and the plants look really healthy. I am not sure when they will bloom here. Avedon I cannot wait for the aroma, you have made me anxious...lol!

Mine came from a plant company called Blooming Bulbs - something like that. The bulbs are usually prepackaged at the nurseries in racks in plastic net bags.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Took a few pictures of the tuberoses in the rain this morning--I could still get a nice whiff of fragrance while I was out there in the garden.

Avedon I wish we could smell them here, I have one of 3 putting up stalks so I will get to finally smell a tuberose...keeping fingers crossed the feral cats do not break it off before I get to smell them!!!
