"Dahlia 'Jersey Beauty' 2014, NJ, Formal Decorative, 6 ft Perennial (Waite,1924),Z8, B-FD-PK Class(2004) Awards(6), v2

This is an heirloom variety from New Jersey. Old House Gardens in Michigan carries it. It's a tall skinny plant (somewhat ugly) that has beautiful pink flowers. Saving the tubers over Winter can be iffy. My plants have never generated large tuber clumps.

Oh yes, and it is 90 years old:)

Well if it is 90 years old someone has been successful in keeping it over winter you would think.

True. I guess what I was trying to say is that it is a little more challenging than some of the other dahlias (to store).

I purchased this dahlia in 2009. It is a favorite.
