there seems to be a confusion in labeling 'Mr or Miss Peters' variety of this plant. in the plant finder for longwood gardens there is an entry for 'Mr Peters', and the label in-ground now reads 'Mr Peters'
but i think the same plant was photographed in earlier years as 'Miss Peters'. see this link:

According to the link you cite, it appears that Miss Peters was a misidentified Mrs. Iceton.

yah, it appears to have been misidentified and people sited entries for both 'mr' and 'miss' in Longwood journal entries: guess it was an error.
i could not find any mention of 'miss peters', so i hope that ' mr peters' is a correct identifier.
i am just beginning to get interested in crotons and did not want to make a mistake in database.
