My sister finally moved out with her son, into their own home. So now that leaves us to do with the room what we wanted to when we moved in. Since we always bring our plants inside for the winter in the fall. I figured it was just as much a garden room as any other. Lol.


Here is the progress of a day...lol. about 2 days ago.








I have since moved the white sage over with the rest of the plants by the window.....I plan on making a few shelves by using boards and buckets mostly. I get alot of 3 gallon buckets from where I work. They come in handy for everything just about.


I will update this as we go. Painting then carpet cleaning.

Exactly. That was the first thing. Now there is more space in the living room for dancing, yoga and taichi workouts.

Neat. I had some time with a Tai Chi instructor about 17 years back. Haven't practiced since then, but the balance and stance lessons stuck and have saved me from some nasty falls.

How about adding some shelving for starting seeds or rooting cuttings for your Spring garden? I used garage shelving and attached shop lights to them to add lighting to grow the plants that were not next to the windows.

We are doing the living room first. I have a "ghetto" shelving idea that I use with wpcrates buckets and boards...lol, make do with what you can.
