I'm having trouble uploading photos to the database; I've tried logging on with two different browsers (Safari & Firefox) and I'm still unable to upload a picture. I choose what photo I want to upload but then I get a little spinning wheel and eventually have to force quit. I haven't tried uploading a picture to a thread yet, maybe I'll see if that works .... be right back.

Can't upload to a thread either. My husband just told me to shut my laptop down and re-start so bye for now.

Nothing like a good ole reboot to get things humming along again!

Sometimes you need to empty your browser cache or history too, when things get sluggish.

Heh, I always get this wonderful mental image when referring to "re-booting" my computer. Little gadget can be annoying at times.

Kyla: I clear history and empty the cache all the time but for some reason didn't even think of shutting down and re-booting ... my husband is the technical one in this household.

woofie: I get frustrated with technical gadgets quite often; there've been a few times that I wanted to give my laptop as well as my camera a *boot*.

Doing a full shutdown and then restarting does seem to clear up many issues. My laptop was being really, really slow yesterday. Shut it down and started it up again and everything was back to normal.

I'm glad my husband told me to do it because he also asked how long it had been since I'd done a backup and it had been two months, so I got my little external hard drive thingy and immediately did a back up after the re-boot.
