Here are photos of species L. rosthornii. It looks like L. henryi, but I purchased it from Judith Freeman several years back.

As far as I know, the "black heart" characteristic evident in your photos is always from L. rosthornii, but the easiest way to tell the two species apart is the lower group of the dimorphic leaves:
rosthornii = narrow leaves
henryi = wide leaves

Very nice. I also believe that they are said to have a straighter and stronger stem than henryi as well.

Beautiful lily to work with , Mike -Oystein supplied me with many.. These babies will be in 'full; fruition this Summer,, Trumpet crosses /on Rosthornii I have shown last year revealed many results.. some were strange!.. anyway , so is life! Shrug!
