I think I initially planted some creeping jenny with the heuchera, but there is now several baby sword ferns interplaying with it. The ferns will have to be pulled when they get too big, but my guess is they will return. This planter is located on the north side of the house with no supplemental watering (mainly because it is out of sight out of mind...)
