I think the tepals are too long to be Tropical Giant, but I could be wrong.

Note how three of the six segments display more pronounced recurvature


I can see the alternate 'segments' which I think are tepals recurving more in Dave's photo, I can't see it in the photo in question.

At least we can all agree on the 'Hymenocallis' part.
My vote is still for the H. littoralis/Beach Spider Lily.
Guess it may be necessary to make another trip to Hawaii to take more photos.
