Nah, I just think of them as mushroom compost and whack them in the soil where they belong. But then again I don't eat mushrooms and size, shape or color.

Do you actually eat anything apart from Jalapeno peppers as we call them?

Jalapenos I'll ear alright. I grew up in Texas and ate a lot of the Tex-Mex foods as a kid.

Mushrooms I don't know maybe it is cause I remember getting a pizza with mushrooms on it when I was a kid and it seemed so slimy and felt so yucky in my mouth I spit it out and have not had another. What 45 years now? I do cook with them if the recipe calls for it for my husband likes them. I just make sure I pick them all out first........
