Don't forget the land that this whole event is set on is the Chelsea pensioners park. They are war Heroes, so you have to build it in weeks and take it out in days!

On the show gardens I came across this! North American carnivorous plants with Gunnera maculata!
Strange but effective!

The bit I wanted to see to pay my respects to was there! For they had built a peaceful, relaxing garden to Honour all Allied Services in the wars and for those still fighting or indeed getting over it!
As I come from a Military family and was in the Army myself, I had to see it!
Unfortunately you could not get near it for people out to pay their own respects. I had my Regimental Blazer on and people moved out of the way when they saw my medals.
It had been on the TV and in the Newspapers that they had fountains with peace lilies around, and asked if you could throw a coin in for the service charities, of which I am a member!
My father had given me 17 pound coins to throw in, one for every member of the family killed in action.
A very nice lady behind the rope cordon saw me and asked for people to move out of the way, I was just getting the coins out when a man near to me lit a cigarette!
Sarah grabbed the camera from me. He was politely asked to put it out, so he stubbed it out on the actual plaque to remember the fallen Heroes!
I went berserk, but security got him before I did, and he was handed over to the Police to a very slow hand clap from the thousands of people!
They asked me to say the Royal British Legion and the Burma Star epitaphs, which I did to complete silence, and then I threw the coins in!
In one week they raised over £5 million pounds to help the living and yet to remember the dead.
So the only picture is this!

Then as I had dragged Sarah around acres of land, I spotted what I wanted, but she would not let me have one. Oh well!

I had promised Sarah to take her into into the members club for smoked salmon and A glass of Champagne!
The place was packed, and there as usual was nowhere to sit, and Sarah's legs were worn out.
A nice lady we had never met saw us looking for a table, and invited us over to join her. Most kind you say, well I know a lot of people and on a lot of the stands, I spotted someone I know, and they out of courtesy give you a drink! Sarah was already sailing close to the wind, so this made matters worse.
So whilst eating our smoked salmon (not as good as mine), this lady ordered two bottles of Champagne, one for us and one for her!
The resulting mess after this, was this as this lady came with us, as Sarah told her I knew Chelsea!

Then with everyone quite worn out the lady insisted we went to the Pimm's bar!
So this is how the day ended with the nice lady snoring on the Chelsea grass!
They sell all the plants at the end of the show when the bell rings. The whole of London, is like a moving Botanic garden!
Every train, bus, car, taxi, bicycle and people walking is on the move, with every sort of thing you can imagine!

Glad that they got the jerk with the cigarette.

You've created a bit of heaven for me here in your cubit. I live in a scrub desert. There is great beauty here in my desert but you have to look for it.

Dear Angele, glad you are enjoying it! My battery ran out on my old camera, or I would have put a lot more on. plus people kept stopping me as they know me, for a chat!
Here is a coral bark maple (center), with a Californian lilac to the right!
I have got one of these, they are remarkably beautiful for their Autumn\Fall colours, and in the winter the bark is a glistening red to pink coral colour!
