I didn't participate either just way too much going on around here right now. They should have that contest in the winter when we are all sitting warm and snuggled with our laptops. No yard work to take care of.

And of course I appreciate the acorns but mostly I enjoyed feeling like I was able to contribute something, and of course learning more about two of my favorite types of plants!!

Nope, wasn't following it so good to know. I like late bloomers cause otherwise the season is over way too quickly.
