I have been a census worker and got far far behind on my painting!

walgreens have their bird houses on 50% off sale. Those houses are very creative for about $5 or so

I saw them! it's funny, before the recession, I was painting birdhouse murals on backyard block walls and in kitchens. I miss painting full time.

I'm in the middle of moving from my house in the bay area up to our house in the sierras. Hopefully someday soon we will all be settled in with workshop up and running again and I can start posting projects on here again!

have 25 yrs of junk at our old house that needs to be sorted and moved so it will probably take a while

moving is great though...the best way to clean house!

thanks all! DH is doing most of the work I'm living in the Sierras now, and he's still in the bay area for now. so I only gotta work on it all one day a week, and travel to and fro lol! I get to do all the set up stuff here at the cabin. Hopefully the bay area house sells quick and we'll be done with the move and transition soon!

We were talking today about the mini gardens, think I'll leave them behind cuz I'm not sure any of the plants will thrive up here in all this shade under the pine & cedar trees. I may start a new mini garden here with native plants to this area, will have to wait n see

boo, the great thing about those kind of villages...you just pack em up and take em with you! I am seriously considering adding some here at our new home. We wont be doing much gardening here, but yard art is a must! and your villages tie into my mini garden wants very nicely!

Before Love Eat pray became a hit, but perhaps about the time I watched under the Tuscan Sun, I longed to take a road trip across America. painting, visiting friends, making new ones. Truly experiencing America the beautiful.My dream is for 20011 Summer. We'll see! It's all dependent on finances of course.
