Update on the bouquet that has scented my yard with its amazing fragrance for weeks. This photo was taken 2 days ago. Some flowers have since dropped off but more flowers are coming. I've noticed slight color changes on all my flowers. But the fragrance is also much stronger. I think the mild winter has something to do with thay?

Its not going to branch out this time.



The rains knocked the flowers off the bouquet. I didnt get them moved in in time. The flowers are in a bowl inside now. But more are coming.

Cheryl, compare your leave border with the pictures I am posting. My pictures are the Celadine's leaves.

Here is the tag from Gill's Nursey in Corpus Christie. And a photo in her 1 gal pot when we got her in 2012. And today. Not the best posture and she needs a lot of support for she is heavy on top.

Yes! YES! YESSSSS!!

No help with the tag. I don't see the orange in yours. Though Celadine can have a lot of yellow (I have one that produces practically completely yellow flowers), it is considered a white. See if your flowers turn more white with age and heat.

Actually, this year is more yellow than last year. But less pinks. Compare with my avatar.

That picture (avatar) is not the Celadine. At least, it doesn't fit the accepted coloration.

So, you and I still don't know. We'll have to stick with "NOID" for now.

I was all ready to etch out a new plant tag for it! I guess I will still call it "Christie" . How do you explain the celedine leaf pattern. I take it even that distinguishing leaf pattern is not a for sure thing? It wouldn't surprise me if that nursery propagated their own seeds. It is a fantastic place!

You know I am anything but expert when it comes to plumeria. Perhaps Hetty will chime in here. I wonder if the Celadine was the seed-pod parent and that the seedlings obtained carry that distinctive leaf pattern? That would make sense, at least to me. I have never had a Celadine form seed-pods, so don't know the answer to my question.
