i think if you use 1:1:1 peat/perlite/fine bark with a little LF sphag cut up and may be a little of lava rock not too large and put it on a wick - to make sure it never ever dries up - you should be able to grow it in a pot too. or in one of those oyama-pots for semi-hydro. i never have to worry about my spaths or anthuriums, 'cause they are wicked and WICKE-ED too! dh calls the big a. alabama 'red lips'
