Lovely new blooms, Glen. So neat to see your season starting up. That last yellow daylily looks like the one my mother used to grow, and she called it her 'Lemon lily', a very graceful, very early yellow one. It may have been H. flava, not sure and I wish I had pictures of it. Is yours fragrant?
Once again, I think our mutual heritage (British) is seen in some of the heirloom flowers on both sides of the Pacific.
I'm hoping to see a few late blooms on some of my new plantings into October this year. It's still very much summer here, although the northern states, Wyoming, and the Dakotas are supposed to get early snow tomorrow. BRRRrr!!
