We are having a cold night period for the next week or so. I decided to bring plants in.
FlapJack lives in this south facing window until May

This planter with echeverias and FireStick plant has a boarder,(temporarily )
NO WAY is this coming in until later. The planter lives with the Flapjack in the living room window.

Wow, that's interesting. I take it that's some sort of spider? I've never seen something like that before.

I call that nature's natural netting cover Hilarious! Hilarious! I always go around my plants outdoors with a bamboo skewer removing them..but they just keep coming back for more..oh well!

Oh I hope you just get a bit cold but not yet the snow that some parts are getting though... Blinking

Oh, glad you got it off! Big Grin

My Crassula argentea and gollum, both are always spun with web, especially here, it is just so dry..I am too lazy to really tackle it more in depth, just letting it be..it stays outdoors anyhow..and I know it is the favorite lair of our black widow here...so hands off from me. It has other webbings from another type of spider..that one is softer, easier to remove..the webbing of the black widow seems a bit stronger though.

How are you doing?? Thanks for the heads up on the plants, maybe I have to break down and bring mine indoors now too!! (I've been trying to put it off) I tip my hat to you.

I am not going to bring anything in until they say we are getting down to the 30s. We are in the 40s tonight it is early for us but the plants will be fine as long as there is no frost.

Cinta, I bring in the two plants that are house plants when we have cold nights just because I remember. Temps in the 40's without frost will do = in the coleus , so we take cuttings at the same time .
It's just chores for the deck garden. Coleus will drop leaves when temps go into the 40's. We sometimes have frosts as early as mid September.

The spider ridden plant is inside now. Hope they dont start up again in new quarters.

Tell me about it. I always bring a spider or two in every year. Try my best but those that make that hugh round web and they hang out in the middle. I am bringing my plants in this weekend. I will spry them tomorrow. Just to make sure.

I brought mine in yesterday and today...one of them I had to shake upside down while holding the leaves, the spiders were all over it, and just when I figured they were finished, another would pop up...made me hesitate bringing the plant in nodding

This just seems to be spider time. I know the season is ending when I see the big ones in the garden
