Jamie Gossard will be our next Guest at the Middle Georgia Hemerocallis Society meeting on Oct 18th. I have never met or heard him give presentation before. Should be interesting. Trying to get my budget prepared. Plan on bidding quite a bit at the auction. Just a tad excited.

I have had the pleasure of spending a little time with him , walking thru Dan Hansens garden. He didnt know me from Adam, but started up a conversation with my daughter and myself. I told him my blue desire had bloomed and what I thought about it. He whipped out his phone and started showing me some of his seedlings that he was excited about. Point being.......he is very friendly and excited about what he does, Im sure you will enjoy nodding

Bob, you will not be competing with us bidding. We will not be able to be at the October meeting. Our daughter is getting married that weekend. You are right that the bids will be higher than they normally are. We have had the opportunity to see Jamie speak twice. It is good for our bank balance that we will not be there! I hope you go home with all of the ones that you want and at good prices.

Thanks, Pam! We think we are getting a good SIL. As long as he is good to her, all will be fine.

We will miss being at the daylily meeting and miss out on some great daylilies.

I have heard Jamie speak twice. Once at the NVDS fall luncheon and once @ Lilyhemmer. He is a great speaker and as Pam said, very friendly. You will enjoy it thoroughly Thumbs up Smiling

Doris, congratulations on the wedding and the addition of a SIL. I hope all goes well and it is a great day for all. Doris you are a tough one to bid against. Maybe I will have a chance at some winners. I look forward to learning a lot from Jamie.
