I just wiped out an extended answer to you all. It was brilliant with lots of photos Hilarious! Whistling

I will just suffice it to say, yes I have a tripod but it does not help in this area. I use the shaky hand setting and I would love to visit MR. But in the mean time I will continue to stand on my head, as best I can, to shoot these and the ones on my patio.

Marilyn, that first photo is pretty good, looks sharp and clear to me. The second photo looks like you were focusing on the beautiful Sansevieria? All else is blurred. Maybe step back a few feet and try again, then crop to what you want to show.

MR and Marilyn, I have the same allergy to the word 'TEST'. I also have to do things by bits and pieces when I am learning something new. Still trying to figure out the depth of field thing. Shrug!

Today I will mow lawns and clear more semps from the beds. I will be watching for crested forms. Hurray!

Thanks, I think I have waited too long for the Sans but the rest are semps and will stay in place. Almost all of them made it through last winter, although they sill stay small.

Marilyn, that Sans looks wonderful, bring it indoors, it doesn't need much light. It is such a beautiful plant. Besides it will give you something to talk to on those long winter nights. Lovey dubby And you will be rewarded with beautiful growth and a much larger plant next growing season. Hurray!

Looking at Marilyn's pots: I've been collecting all the pieces for my winter project now that it's cold enough already that I'm stuck indoors. I'm going to make hypertufa pots so next summer I can bring the plants from my light stand outdoors in style. Hurray!

Today I'm going to round up the pieces in one spot -- hopefully I'll even get one started... Right now it just looks like I've got a jumble of cardboard boxes and plastic containers in my office.
